Superb early Victorian Rosewood and brass 3-draw Naval telescope by 'Adie & Son' of Edinburgh, complete with original brass case, circa 1835-81. Length: 25cm extending to 76cm. Lovely quality piece by makers of great renown. £425 ($850)

Very early cased set of x6 Prismatic binoculars. Very fine quality square leather case with shoulder strap and original fittings. The binoculars look to be a combination of japanned brass and aluminium with leather covered tubes. They appear to be completely anonymous but have shaped blank cartouches which would most likely have been engraved for the retailer. Focus is by the centre wheel to both oculars. The centre nut is marked 'x6' and the body pivot is marked from 70-58. Lenses are generally fine with some light static debris inside and a possible craze to the extreme edge of each inside; not in the general field of vision. These have not been dismantled by us. A very nice and unusual form! General condition throughout is very good. The binoculars measure approx. 11.5cm long and 12cm wide. The leather case measures approx. 12.5cm x 12.5cm x 5.5cm  £115 ($230)
