Genuine Doctors reflecting head mirror with original strap and cover. All-original condition even retaining the bluey/grey strap with 3-prong buckle. The mirror is mounted on a ball joint allowing movement in just about any direction! Mirror is intact and in good condition with no foxing and retains the original aluminium cover and black japanned back. This piece dates between 1922-1948. Mirror diameter 9cm. £55 ($110)
Opticians Skiascope by Luer c.1920. All original lenses with variances from +/- 0.5 to 10. This was how Opticians tested the eyes of those of a 'fidgety' nature such as children! If you used the usual spectacle frames and kept interchanging the lenses the chances are when you took a lens out and put it down the child would follow your action and risk either other lenses or the whole frames falling off. With this device you can hold the instrument at an angle and move the full range of lenses through the patients field of view in one easy action. Total length; 41.5cm. £SOLD

Late Victorian cased Otoscope by Arnold & Sons
of London. Leather covered box with fitted interior and company logo
embossed in lid. Silver plated throughout and in superb condition. Box size;
